Archinoetics is seeking an exceptional Software Engineer with 4+ years of experience in developing CAD design automation tools for electrical engineers. This project involves the development of a new breed of CAD tool that totally automates FPGA development, allowing even non-engineers to create competitive FPGA designs.

Applicant must have:

• 4+ years of experience in developing CAD design automation tools for electrical engineers
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence, optimization, and search techniques such as simulated annealing
• Familiarity with FPGA design and synthesis flow, preferably through the use of Xilinx and/or Altera products with familiarity in Verilog and/or VHDL
• Ability to learn quickly, work well with others, and have a fun, positive attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred that candidate also has:

• M.S. degree or higher in computer science, electrical engineering, or physics, although certain highly qualified candidates holding a B.S. degree will be considered
• Knowledge of scripting and program automation, such as Perl or TCL
